The Government has extended the last date for filing appeals before the GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) from 30 June 2026 to 31 July 2026 under Section 112 of the CGST Act. The extension has been granted in response to representations highlighting technical issues caused by the heavy rush of appeal filings on the GSTAT portal. Taxpayers are advised to complete the filing process well before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute difficulties.
